Sucia Island State Park is made up of several small islands, Sucia Island and Little Sucia being the largest. There are two small private islands which are not part of the park. There are lots of great trails to walk on. The only population there are the park staff who maintain the park. It’s a popular destination in the San Juan Islands so there were people there, however this time of the year it isn’t too busy. The park has a “pack it in – pack it out” policy, and has some nice amenities: composting toilets, campsites with fire pits and picnic benches, and potable water. |
